Alcudia hosts national assembly of Spain's most beautiful villages
Alcudia is hosting the national assembly of Los Pueblos Más Bonitos de España, a gathering of approximately 120 participants from across the country. The four-day event, running from Thursday to Sunday, includes activities such as tours of the Roman city of Pollentia, visits to the Sa Bassa Blanca Museum, and boat trips around the Bay of Alcudia.
Mayor Fina Linares and tourism councillor Juan José Sendín welcomed the delegation during an official reception. The assembly serves as a platform for member municipalities to coordinate joint campaigns, discuss digital promotion, and plan participation in the Fitur tourism trade fair in Madrid. Discussions also cover the approval of budgets and the potential addition of new villages to the network.
Founded in 2010, Los Pueblos Más Bonitos de España is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and promoting the cultural, architectural, and natural heritage of its members through respectful tourism. Fornalutx is currently the only other member from Mallorca.
