Aldair documentary to premiere on Sky

The documentary ‘Aldair. Cuore giallorosso’, directed by Simone Godano, is scheduled to premiere on September 18 on Sky Documentaries and Sky Sport Uno. The film explores the career and personal connection of former Brazilian defender Aldair with AS Roma and the city of Rome.

Spanning his thirteen seasons with the club from 1990 to 2003, the documentary travels between Italy and Brazil, from the beaches of Rio de Janeiro to symbolic locations in Rome. Narrated by Claudio Amendola and guided by writer Sandro Bonvissuto, the film uses archival footage and new testimonies to examine themes of identity and belonging.

Notable figures providing commentary include Francesco Totti, Zico, Giuseppe Giannini, and Carlo Verdone. The production is linked to celebrations planned for November 30, 2025, at the Stadio Olimpico to mark Aldair’s 60th birthday.
