Aldar Properties records AED 1.5 bn sales for The Canopies at Yas Point

Aldar Properties announced that sales of its new residential community, The Canopies at Yas Point on Yas Island, reached AED 1.5 billion during the launch. The six‑building development, part of the Yas Point waterfront masterplan, attracted 84 % first‑time Aldar buyers, with 40 % of purchasers being UAE nationals and the remaining 60 % expatriates and overseas investors. Buyers from the United Kingdom, India and Egypt were among the top contributors. The buyer profile was 32 % female and 68 % male, and 47 % were under 45 years old. The Canopies offers direct access to Yas Island’s attractions such as Yas Mall, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World, Yas Waterworld, Yas Links and Yas Marina Circuit, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s appeal as a premium residential destination.
