Alderetes couple arrested for illegal sale of nalbufina and clonazepam
Authorities in Alderetes, Argentina, arrested a man and a woman accused of selling the opioid nalbufina and the controlled‑substance clonazepam without medical authorization. The investigation, led by the Unidad Fiscal de Narcomenudeo and the Dirección General de Drogas Peligrosas, uncovered a delivery‑style operation that used the couple’s vehicles to distribute the drugs to customers.
During a raid on Avenida Juan Domingo Perón near the Circunvalación, investigators seized 22 injectable ampoules of 10 mg nalbufina, syringes, needles, and later recovered additional ampoules, more than ten blisters of clonazepam, cash, and two motorcycles used for deliveries. The court ordered house arrest for the suspects pending further proceedings.
