ALDI Australia Cuts Prices on Meat, Poultry, Seafood and Deli Items
ALDI Australia announced permanent price reductions across its fresh‑protein range, covering meat, poultry, seafood and deli products. The retailer said the cuts are intended to provide “meaningful savings” for families facing cost‑of‑living pressures. Jordan Lack, ALDI Australia’s Chief Commercial Officer, stated that the company wants to keep high‑quality groceries affordable and help customers stretch their budgets.
The announced reductions include: - Lamb loin chops: from $29.99 per kg to $23.99 (per kg), a 20 % saving. - Short‑cut and middle bacon (1 kg): from $11.49 to $9.99, a 13 % saving. - 5‑star beef mince (500 g): from $10.49 to $9.99, a 5 % saving. - Rolled boneless lamb leg: from $21.99 to $19.99, a 9 % saving.
ALDI said the reductions will be permanent, aiming to make quality protein more accessible for everyday meals such as lunches, mid‑week dinners and weekend barbecues.
