ALDI Australia named top-rated supermarket for ninth consecutive year

ALDI Australia has been named the top-rated supermarket for overall customer satisfaction in the 2026 Canstar Blue Supermarket Satisfaction Ratings. This marks the retailer’s ninth consecutive win and its fourteenth award since the ratings began in 2011.

According to Canstar Blue, customers rated ALDI highly across several categories, including value for money, store layout, deals, and the quality of own-brand products. The recognition comes as many Australian households seek to manage grocery budgets, with research indicating over 80% of consumers are making active changes to save on costs.

In response to consumer needs, ALDI has invested more than $170 million in permanent price reductions across more than 300 products. These reductions, which include items such as beef, bacon, sausages, and lamb, have seen some prices drop by up to 20 percent.
