ALDI cuts prices on nearly one-third of U.S. products
ALDI has implemented a new round of price reductions across its United States stores, affecting nearly one-third of its everyday assortment. The company announced that these adjustments, which took effect on September 23, 2026, are scheduled to remain in place through at least November 3.
The price cuts are heavily concentrated on fresh produce and proteins. Notable reductions include Honeycrisp apples, which are now priced at $1.99 per pound—a 35% decrease from the previous year and the lowest price for the variety in over five years. Additionally, Kirkwood chicken breast family packs have been lowered to $1.99 per pound, the lowest regular price for the product since 2022.
Other discounted items include Autumncrisp grapes, Bartlett pears, Brussels sprouts, butternut squash, spaghetti squash, fresh herbs, garlic, green beans, and various types of potatoes. ALDI estimates these reductions will generate approximately $86 million in savings for consumers during this period.
