Aldi halts Coca-Cola deliveries in Germany over price dispute

Aldi has suspended deliveries of Coca-Cola products in Germany following a dispute over price increases implemented by the manufacturer. While competitors such as Lidl and Netto have already accepted the new pricing, Aldi has maintained its current lower prices, leading to a halt in supply.

Coca-Cola introduced new pricing on September 1, recommending a price of 1.69 euros for a 1.25-liter bottle. Aldi continues to sell remaining stock at 1.59 euros. Negotiations are ongoing, but industry experts suggest that the return of products to Aldi shelves could take several months, citing previous long-term disputes between the retailer and other brands like Red Bull.
