Aldi launches low‑cost portable cooler for beach use

German retailer Aldi introduced a new portable cooler called the CRANE, aimed at beach‑goers and picnic enthusiasts. The 20‑liter cooler is sold in Portugal for €19.99 and was made available on 18 July. It comes in several colours, includes a carry handle for easy transport on sand, and folds compactly for storage after the summer season. Compared with similar 20‑liter coolers sold online for at least €30, Aldi’s price is positioned as a budget‑friendly option for keeping food and drinks fresh throughout the day.
