Aldi Nord offers Pelikan K12 watercolor sets for 5.99 euros

Aldi Nord is offering the Pelikan K12 watercolor set, which includes 12 colors and a tube of white opaque paint, for 5.99 euros. The promotion is available in stores until Saturday, August 15.

In comparison, the same product is sold on Amazon as a school set for 9.99 euros, which includes three brushes. While the Aldi price is 4 euros lower than the Amazon set, the Aldi offer does not include brushes. Although Aldi advertises a 60 percent discount based on the manufacturer's suggested retail price (UVP) of 15.25 euros, the actual market price for the item typically fluctuates around 10 euros.

The timing of the sale coincides with the upcoming start of the school year in North Rhine-Westphalia on September 2.
