Aldi Satya Mahendra conducts training at Jerez Circuit for 2027 season

Indonesian rider Aldi Satya Mahendra has commenced intensive training at the Jerez Circuit in Spain to prepare for the 2027 World Supersport season. Following the conclusion of the 2026 series, the Yamaha Racing Indonesia rider utilized the October 22-23 period to test the Yamaha R9.

A primary focus of these sessions is adapting to Michelin tires, which will serve as the official supplier for the 2027 World Supersport season. Mahendra has been testing various tire compounds, including soft, medium, and hard, to facilitate new motorcycle setups.

Mahendra concluded the 2026 season in 13th place with 132 points, highlighted by podium finishes at Phillip Island, Australia, and Misano, Italy. He noted that the upcoming training is essential for improving technical skills, mental composure, and adapting to unpredictable racing conditions.
