Aldi Süd implements camera parking enforcement in Karlsruhe

Aldi Süd has implemented camera-based parking monitoring at its supermarket in Käppelestraße, Karlsruhe, to deter long-term parking. According to signage, customers are permitted a maximum stay of two hours; exceeding this limit results in a 40 Euro fine.

This measure follows similar enforcement actions in the same street, where nearby retailers like dm, Alnatura, and Fressnapf have already implemented strict parking regulations. In those locations, a one-hour limit is enforced with a 45 Euro penalty. Aldi Süd stated that the goal of the new monitoring is to ensure sufficient parking spaces remain available for its customers.
