ALDI to reopen expanded Naas store following €4m investment

ALDI Ireland is scheduled to reopen its Jigginstown store in Naas on August 20 following a €4 million investment in refurbishment and expansion. The store has been closed since June 7 to facilitate these upgrades.

The redevelopment has increased the store's floor space by more than a third, growing from 846 square metres to 1,142 square metres. The facility will utilize the company’s ‘Project Fresh’ layout, which is designed to improve the shopping experience and provide easier access to fresh produce, including Irish meat, dairy, and vegetables.

New amenities at the site include a bakery for fresh bread and treats, ten bicycle parking spaces, and four electric vehicle (EV) charging points, consisting of two standard and two accessible spaces. This investment follows a previous €3.5 million upgrade to ALDI’s other Naas location on Monread Road.
