Aldila Sutjiadi and Erin Routliffe advance to US Open second round

Aldila Sutjiadi of Indonesia and her New Zealand partner, Erin Routliffe, advanced to the second round of the 2026 US Open women's doubles after a dominant first-round victory. The pair defeated Ann Li of the United States and Clara Tauson of Denmark with a score of 6-2, 6-2 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York.

Sutjiadi and Routliffe controlled the match through highly effective returns, winning 90 percent of their service return points in both the first and second sets. Their victory sets up a second-round matchup against fellow Indonesian Janice Tjen and her Canadian partner, Leylah Fernandez.
