Aldir Blanc National Culture Promotion Policy advances in Brazil
The Aldir Blanc National Culture Promotion Policy (PNAB) is undergoing various implementation stages across Brazil, focusing on transparency and specialized training for cultural agents.
In Itabira, the Carlos Drummond de Andrade Cultural Foundation (FCCDA) organized a public hearing to present proposed calls for projects for the second cycle of the PNAB. The meeting aimed to allow local artists, producers, and collectives to review resource application plans and ensure the distribution of funds aligns with local cultural demands and national guidelines.
In Mato Grosso, the Mutirum Institute, in partnership with several government bodies including the Ministry of Culture, conducted a training workshop for the Xavante people in the São Marcos village. This initiative, part of the PNAB Indigenous Peoples Edition, focused on teaching participants how to develop, execute, and account for cultural projects, as well as how to use traditional and social media communication tools.
