Aldo Gutiérrez Chávez joins Netflix reality show Habilidad Física 100

Aldo Gutiérrez Chávez, a researcher and professor at the Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua (UACH), has been selected as a participant in the Netflix reality show ‘Habilidad Física 100: México’. The program is the Latin American version of the South Korean format ‘Physical: 100’.

Gutiérrez Chávez, a 32-year-old horticultural engineer with a doctorate in horticultural sciences, balances his academic career with a background in elite athletics. A former national Greco-Roman wrestling champion, he has represented Mexico in international competitions, including the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla.

In addition to his athletic history, Gutiérrez Chávez is a recognized member of the National System of Researchers (SNII) in Mexico. His scientific work focuses on biotechnology, hydroponics, and sustainable food production. In the competition, he has successfully advanced to the group of semifinalists and finalists as part of the ‘Green Team’.
