Aleš Primc criticizes Ljubljana mayor during campaign

Ljubljana city councilor and mayoral candidate Aleš Primc has launched a campaign initiative described as the ‘final phase of cleaning Ljubljana.’ As part of this effort, Primc and his assistants mowed a lawn near the Otona Župančič kindergarten and the Karla Destovnika-Kajuha elementary school in the Štepanjsko naselje district.

Primc criticized incumbent Mayor Zoran Janković, alleging that the current administration is unable to perform basic municipal functions, such as lawn maintenance. He suggested that the lack of mowing in the area was a form of retaliation against the Štepanjsko neighborhood.

Beyond maintenance issues, Primc raised several other concerns regarding the city's management, including the fact that 15,000 residents lack personal doctors, significant time lost to traffic congestion, and potential risks to drinking water due to the construction of the C0 channel. He stated that the upcoming elections represent a major opportunity for developmental progress in Ljubljana.
