Alecrim neighborhood celebrates 115 years in Natal

The Alecrim neighborhood, a major commercial hub in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, is celebrating its 115th anniversary with a series of cultural, sporting, and economic initiatives. Organized by the Association of Entrepreneurs of the Alecrim Neighborhood (AEBA) in partnership with Sesc RN and Gigantão das Joias, the celebrations aim to honor the history of the region and strengthen local commerce.

A key highlight is the launch of the Alecrim Benefit Card, designed to offer advantages to consumers and encourage shopping at participating local businesses. Additionally, a promotional campaign involving various commercial establishments will run from October 26 to October 31 to stimulate sales and business opportunities.

The anniversary program also includes community activities, such as the ‘Corre do Alecrim’ run at Praça Gentil Ferreira and a musical performance by Carlos Zens at the Teatro Sesc Sandoval Wanderley.
