Alef Manga sidelined by Remo after dispute with captain Marllon

Alef Manga has been removed from the Remo main squad following a heated discussion with team captain and defender Marllon. The incident occurred after a 2-1 defeat against Santos at the Mangueirão stadium.

Left-back Marlon, who witnessed the beginning of the altercation, described the event as a normal part of high-pressure match situations, involving disagreements over passing and team performance. The dispute was reported to the club's board, which decided to sideline the attacker with the approval of coach Thiago Carpini.

Manga, who is under contract with Remo until the end of 2026, has been assigned to train separately alongside Franco Catarozzi and Cristian Tassano. This marks the third time in his career that he has been sidelined following such a controversy.
