Alejandra Guzmán suspends Veracruz concert after hip dislocation

Mexican singer Alejandra Guzmán suffered a hip dislocation during her concert at the World Trade Center in Boca del Río, Veracruz, on September 19, 2026. The incident occurred during the early stages of her performance while she was executing choreography. Due to the injury, the show was suspended and Guzmán was transported by ambulance to a hospital for emergency medical attention.

Guzmán, who has a history of hip issues and uses titanium prostheses in both hips due to previous medical complications, later updated fans on her condition. She confirmed that doctors successfully repositioned her hip and that she is recovering well. She also noted that she is able to walk and plans to continue her ‘Los Que Nos Quedamos Tour’ with adjustments to her stage movements to avoid further injury.

Additionally, the singer reported taking legal action against an individual at the hospital who she claims attempted to manipulate her leg without authorization. The Veracruz concert has been placed ‘on pause’ and is expected to be rescheduled at a later date.
