Alejandro Alvarado returns to form for San Diego FC

San Diego FC player Alejandro Alvarado has successfully returned to professional action following a 13-month absence due to a serious knee injury. The 23-year-old marked his comeback by scoring the winning goal against FC Dallas and subsequently providing an assist in a Leagues Cup match against Tijuana.

San Diego FC head coach Mikey Varas praised Alvarado’s mental strength and resilience, stating that the player “embodies that relentless never-say-die attitude.” Varas noted the significant role played by the club’s medical staff in facilitating Alvarado’s recovery.
