Alejandro Armenta Mier opens International Congress of Evidentiary Update

The International Congress of Evidentiary Update was inaugurated at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP). During the event, Jordi Ferrer Beltrán, director of the Chair of Legal Culture at the University of Girona, emphasized that effective justice requires solid laws, continuously trained professionals, and judicial processes that respect human rights.

Governor Alejandro Armenta Mier stated that the congress serves as an opportunity to strengthen the Rule of Law. He noted that the state government aims to consolidate a modern state in alignment with both the State Development Plan and the National Development Plan led by President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo. Armenta Mier highlighted that legal and academic rigor must be accompanied by social sensitivity to ensure access to justice for vulnerable populations, particularly those in remote or resource-poor areas.
