Alejandro Balde faces potential exit from FC Barcelona

Alejandro Balde faces an uncertain future at FC Barcelona as he has fallen down the pecking order under manager Hansi Flick. Having played only 12 minutes in the current season, the 22-year-old Spanish left-back has become a third-choice option behind João Cancelo and Xavi Espart.

Reports indicate that Barcelona's sporting direction and Balde's agent, Jorge Mendes, are exploring a departure during the upcoming winter transfer window in January 2027. A loan deal with an option to buy is being considered to prevent the player's career from stagnating.

Juventus is reportedly interested in the player, whose market value is estimated at 385 million KR. Other major clubs, including Manchester United and Liverpool, are also monitoring his situation. Barcelona aims to generate significant funds through player departures, potentially targeting up to 100 million euros from sales including Balde and Jules Koundé, to fund new signings like Aymeric Laporte.
