Alejandro Balde faces uncertain future at FC Barcelona

The future of FC Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde is facing increasing uncertainty due to limited playing time under head coach Hansi Flick. Having played only 12 minutes across eight starting matches this season, the 22-year-old defender is reportedly considering a move.

Manchester United is monitoring the situation and may return for the Spanish international during the January transfer window to address their need for depth at left-back. Other major European clubs, including Liverpool, Chelsea, and AC Milan, have also expressed interest in the player, who is valued at approximately 40 to 50 million euros.

In anticipation of a potential departure, Barcelona is reportedly looking at future replacements. The club is monitoring RB Leipzig’s David Raum and Crystal Palace’s Tyrick Mitchell, with the aim of potentially securing one of them as a free agent in the summer of 2027.
