Alejandro López Caballero seeks return as Hermosillo mayor

Alejandro López Caballero, the former mayor of Hermosillo, has expressed his intention to run for the municipal presidency of the state capital again. López Caballero cited his three decades of philanthropic and community work, particularly through his organization ‘Mi Ciudad’ and the ‘Ruta de la Salud’ program, as the foundation for his candidacy.

While he has officially registered his interest with the National Action Party (PAN), he indicated that he remains open to changing political parties due to existing differences within the organization. He emphasized that his social work, which includes providing medical care to thousands of women in vulnerable sectors, informs his desire to return to public service.
