Alejandro Sanz premieres new musical in Madrid

Spanish musician Alejandro Sanz has premiered his musical, ‘El Alma Al Aire’, at the Teatro Ocaso Coliseum in Madrid. The production features his most famous songs and was developed alongside playwright Álvaro Tato and director Jonathan Kent.

During the premiere, Sanz introduced his four children to the public: Manuela, Alexander, and two younger children from his relationship with Raquel Perera. Sanz described his children as his primary inspiration and noted their strong bond, mentioning they are multilingual, speaking Russian, Chinese, English, Spanish, and some Arabic.

Manuela Sánchez, Sanz’s eldest daughter, spoke about her upbringing and her life as a fashion designer currently residing in Mexico. She reflected on the unique reality of growing up in the public eye and her efforts to prepare for media pressure through her professional training.
