The singer paused his set to criticize attendees for requesting songs by other artists, such as Juan Gabriel and Marco Antonio Solís, stating they were not part of his repertoire. He also used the platform to voice his long-standing criticisms of reggaeton and urban music.

Syntek defended his behavior on social media, claiming his anger was “justified” because he witnessed individuals throwing food and drinks, specifically corn and beer, at children and elderly fans in the crowd. He described his decision to distance himself from the country as a necessary step for his “mental and spiritual salvation,” though he promised to return in the future.
