Aleks Syntek postpones European tour due to health diagnosis

Mexican singer-songwriter Aleks Syntek has postponed his ‘Total Syntek Tour’ in Europe following medical advice. The artist, who is celebrating 35 years of musical career, announced the delay via social media after receiving a diagnosis of an ‘unspecified psychotic disorder’ (ICD-11 code 6A2Z).

Syntek shared a medical document signed by psychiatrist Luis Solís Rojas, which recommends that the musician refrain from both domestic and international air travel until December 2026 to facilitate his recovery and clinical stability. The postponement affects scheduled performances in several European locations, including Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.

The singer clarified that the tour is not canceled but will be rescheduled, and he expressed his intention to perform for his European fans once he is medically cleared for long-haul travel. He noted that he will continue his domestic performances within Mexico. Fans who have already purchased tickets are advised to monitor official channels for information regarding rescheduling or refunds.
