Aleks Syntek releases urban music debut ‘Masepum’

Mexican singer and producer Aleks Syntek has released a new song titled ‘Masepum’, marking his debut in urban music. The track was produced alongside Spanish singer and producer Moncho Chavea and blends elements of pop, reggaeton, trap, and electronic music.

The release follows recent public controversies involving the artist. During a national celebration in Mexico City on September 15, Syntek reportedly interrupted his performance to criticize the audience's musical tastes and expressed frustration that fans had not defended him throughout his career.

Additionally, Syntek has faced scrutiny following a live stream where he made comments regarding his mental state, stating, ‘Yes, I am mentally unbalanced,’ a remark that has fueled public speculation. The new single ‘Masepum’ incorporates audio from that controversial live stream at the beginning of the track.
