Aleks Syntek to perform free concert at Tabasco Chocolate Festival

Mexican singer Aleks Syntek has been confirmed as a performer for the 2026 Chocolate Festival in Tabasco, where he will provide a free concert on November 15 at the Parque Tabasco Open Air Theater.

This announcement follows recent controversy regarding the artist's stance on unpaid performances. Following a public disagreement with attendees during an Independence Day celebration in Mexico City's Benito Juárez borough, Syntek had stated he would no longer participate in free events, expressing a preference for performing for paying audiences.

The upcoming performance is part of his “Total Syntek Tour,” celebrating 35 years of musical career. Syntek appeared in promotional material for the festival, thanking the state government for the opportunity to present his hits to the public.
