Aleksa Balašević announces film ‘Nevernik’ to be shot in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Aleksa Balašević, son of the renowned singer-songwriter Đorđe Balašević, has announced the film project ‘Nevernik’. The film serves as an homage to Bosnia and Herzegovina and the song of the same name by his father.

Most of the filming is scheduled to take place in Bosnia and Herzegovina next summer, specifically in the Central Bosnia Canton and surrounding areas. Key locations include Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje, Kiseljak, Jajce, and Bjelašnica. Additional scenes will be shot in Vojvodina and a city in Northern Europe.

Balašević is collaborating with Mirza Begović, who will serve as a co-producer and assist with the screenplay and dialogue. Balašević described the project as an international endeavor that reflects his family's deep connection to the region.
