Aleksa Puric transfers from Atlético de Madrid to United FC

Atlético de Madrid has confirmed the transfer of 23-year-old Serbian defender Aleksa Puric to United FC in Dubai. The move marks the end of a brief period for the player in Spain, where he primarily featured for the club's reserve team, Atlético Madrileño, under coach Fernando Torres.

Puric, a 1.96-meter tall center-back, joined Atlético in the summer of 2025 from Racing de Ferrol. During his time with the reserve side, he made 31 appearances and scored one goal, which earned him a debut with the first team in a match against Valencia at Mestalla.

The transfer allows Atlético de Madrid to reopen its transfer window for departures as major European leagues have already closed theirs. Additionally, Racing de Ferrol is reportedly entitled to a percentage of the sale proceeds due to a clause established when Puric departed their club.
