Aleksandar Đorđević sends message of support to Serbian students

Aleksandar Đorđević, the legendary Serbian basketball player and current coach of Bahçeşehir, has issued a message of support to students in Serbia.

Posting from the Swissôtel in Istanbul, Đorđević reflected on his career, recalling how he and his Partizan teammates were young students themselves when they secured a major European trophy in that same location thirty-five years ago. He drew a parallel between the pride and courage felt by his generation and the current spirit of Serbia's youth.

Đorđević expressed deep respect for the younger generation, stating that older generations have a responsibility to support them. He encouraged them to ‘touch a brighter sky,’ noting that they deserve more than those who came before them.
