Aleksandar Pavlovic rejected €100m Manchester City move

Bayern Munich midfielder Aleksandar Pavlovic has revealed that he rejected a significant transfer interest from Manchester City last summer. Reports indicate that the English club was prepared to offer approximately 100 million euros to secure the 22-year-old, viewing him as a potential successor to Rodri.

Pavlovic stated that while being approached by a top club like Manchester City was an honor, the decision to stay in Munich was easy. He cited his deep roots in the city, noting that he grew up in Munich and that his family and friends reside there. He emphasized that his connection to FC Bayern made staying the most logical choice for his career and personal life.

Regarding comparisons to Ballon d'Or winner Rodri, Pavlovic expressed that such recognition serves as motivation for his continued development and his ambition to join the world's footballing elite.
