Aleksandar Vučić addresses NGO influence and potential sanctions

During a visit to Bačka Palanka, Serbian leader Aleksandar Vučić addressed several political issues, including concerns regarding the influence of non-governmental organizations and potential foreign policy shifts.

Vučić criticized an attorney associated with the NGO CRTA, alleging that the individual provided instructions to protesters on how to attack police officers and remain anonymous during confrontations. He questioned the legitimacy of groups attempting to block his passage and expressed concern over the lack of transparency in decision-making processes.

Regarding international relations, Vučić raised questions about whether political actors might implement sanctions against Russia immediately following elections. He emphasized the necessity of knowing who is truly making such significant decisions and advocated for democratic decision-making. He also touched upon historical political precedents in Serbia concerning the Hague Tribunal and the independence of Montenegro and Kosovo.
