Aleksandar Vučić defends Serbian development and alleges foreign influence

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić issued an emotional statement via social media, expressing pride in the country's recent developmental achievements and infrastructure projects. He highlighted the progress of highways, high-speed railways, the Belgrade Waterfront project, and the upcoming Expo exhibition as evidence of national growth.

Vučić addressed political pressures, referencing comments by French President Emmanuel Macron regarding the difficulty of surviving intense political challenges. He further alleged that negative campaigns against national projects, such as the Expo, are driven by significant foreign influence, claiming that 1.3 billion euros have been funneled from abroad into the media and NGO sectors over the last five years to weaken the country.
