Aleksandar Vučić loses aura of invulnerability after Crta poll shows low support

In an interview, Raša Nedeljkov, program director of the Serbian research institute Crta, said the institute's recent public‑opinion poll sparked strong reactions from President Aleksandar Vučić and opposition leaders. Vučić dismissed the poll respondents as "propagandists," while opposition figures criticised the methodology and the fact that parties were measured individually rather than as coalitions.

The poll indicated that both Vučić’s list and the Student List were far below the expected threshold, reflecting deep public mistrust and a referendum‑like atmosphere. Nedeljkov suggested that if the poll results were accurate, elections would have been held long ago, implying a possible delay in the electoral schedule.
