Aleksandar Vučić pledges support for large families and regional investment

During a visit to southeastern Serbia, President Aleksandar Vučić met with the Jovanović family in Sibnica, Rekovac municipality, who have ten children. The President emphasized the importance of supporting large families to ensure the country's future.

Vučić addressed the need for expanded social support, noting that while Serbia's parental allowances for up to four children are among the highest in Europe, the state must find solutions for families with five or more children. He indicated that a plan to address these needs would be developed soon.

To stimulate the economy in the impoverished Levac region, Vučić stated he would work to attract investors to create new jobs. He noted that establishing a manufacturing plant capable of employing 80 to 100 people, particularly women, would significantly benefit the local community. Additionally, he announced non-refundable aid of approximately 5.3 million dinars (roughly 46,000 to 47,000 euros) for a local family winery.
