Aleksandar Vučić Says SNS Will Not Win Future Elections in Key Serbian Cities

Deputy leader of Serbia's Democratic Party Nebojša Novaković claimed that President Aleksandar Vučić and the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) will never win again in Novi Sad, Belgrade, Kragujevac or Niš. Vučić responded by stating he expects a decisive victory in Novi Sad and also anticipates wins in the other major cities. The exchange highlights mounting opposition criticism ahead of upcoming national elections, with both sides emphasizing the political stakes in these urban centres.

The statements were made during Vučić’s visit to construction work on the Danube bridge near Novi Sad, part of the Fruškogorski corridor project.
