Aleksandar Vulin delivers lecture at Fudan University in Shanghai

Aleksandar Vulin, leader of the Socialist Movement, delivered a lecture at Fudan University in Shanghai titled ‘Different States, Common Aspirations: China and Serbia Dialogue on Development Paths’. During his visit, Vulin discussed the strategic cooperation between Serbia and China and the importance of bilateral relations in a changing global order.

Vulin emphasized that true national freedom is defined by a people's right to independently decide their own political system, development path, and future without external pressure or interference. He highlighted that national independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity are fundamental prerequisites for freedom, principles which he stated are shared by both Serbia and China.

The lecture also addressed contemporary political and security challenges, including ‘color revolutions’, media conflicts, and foreign interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states. Vulin concluded by discussing the role of youth, stressing that political maturity, knowledge, and a sense of responsibility toward one's nation are more vital than generational identity.
