Aleksandr Hleb and Andrey Arshavin reunite in Belarus

Former Arsenal footballers Aleksandr Hleb and Andrey Arshavin recently reunited in Belarus while Arshavin was filming his travel series, ‘Fontour’. The two former attacking midfielders, who played for Arsenal during different eras under Arsène Wenger, met in cities including Minsk and Grodno.

During the filming, the pair participated in various activities, including attending a football match between Neman and Torpedo-BelAZ and signing autographs at the CSK Neman facilities. The production also featured a fashion challenge where the two players selected unusual outfits for one another at a national trading house, resulting in Hleb wearing a tracksuit with Belarusian markings and Arshavin wearing a vest and wide-legged trousers.

Arshavin, who now works as a commentator and YouTuber, also documented local experiences such as driving a tractor and cooking draniki, a traditional Belarusian potato pancake. The reunion has gained attention on social media, drawing nostalgia from former teammates and Arsenal supporters.
