Aleksandr Selevko finishes fourth at Grand Prix figure skating event

Estonian figure skater Aleksandr Selevko finished in fourth place at the season's first Grand Prix stage in France, earning a total of 229.98 points.

Selevko performed strongly in the short program to the song ‘Bad’ by Michael Jackson, scoring 85.49 points despite missing two planned quadruple jumps. However, his free skate performance saw significant technical difficulties, including unsuccessful attempts at planned quadruple jumps. He scored 144.49 points in the free skate, which was the fifth-best score of the segment, leaving him approximately 30 points below his personal best.

France's Adam Siao Him Fa secured the victory with consistent performances in both segments. Olympic champion Mikhail Shaidorov struggled in both programs, finishing 11th overall.
