Aleksandra Wachna wins bronze in clean and jerk at U17 European Championships

At the U17 European Weightlifting Championships in Prishtina, Polish weightlifter Aleksandra Wachna of Agros Zamość secured a bronze medal in the clean and jerk discipline within the 69 kg category. Wachna achieved a successful lift of 103 kg in the clean and jerk, though she finished fourth overall in the combined total after a challenging snatch session where her best lift was 82 kg.

The gold medal in the 69 kg category was won by Zehranur Aslan of Turkey, who posted a total of 200 kg (88 kg snatch and 112 kg clean and jerk). Polina Pawlowicz of Russia took silver with a total of 191 kg, while Lise Sterckx of Belgium earned bronze in the overall standings, finishing just 1 kg behind the runner-up.

In the 60 kg category, Adam Lipiński of Znicz Biłgoraj finished in seventh place with a combined total of 206 kg.
