Aleksey Batrakov attracts interest from major European clubs

Galatasaray’s 21-year-old attacking midfielder Aleksey Batrakov has drawn significant interest from several top European football clubs following a strong start to his tenure in Turkey. Scouts from Premier League sides including Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Newcastle United, Tottenham, and Brighton have reportedly been monitoring the player.

In addition to English interest, clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain, Monaco, and Paris FC are also reportedly tracking his progress. Batrakov, who joined Galatasaray from Lokomotiv Moscow in August for a €25 million fee, has made an immediate impact, contributing to four goals (two goals and two assists) in his first ten official appearances. His recent performances in the Champions League, including a goal in a victory against Lille, have further heightened his profile.

Batrakov’s current contract includes a release clause estimated at approximately £50 million (roughly €55 million) applicable to clubs in the English, Spanish, Italian, and German leagues. While European giants are monitoring him, Galatasaray has indicated no immediate plans to sell the player.
