Georg Ermolaev joins Alemannia Aachen on loan with purchase option

Alemannia Aachen have secured the services of 20‑year‑old left‑winger Georg Ermolaev on a season‑long loan from SC Paderborn, with a mandatory purchase option included. Ermolaev, a product of Paderborn’s youth system, has played 64 Regionalliga West matches, scoring nine goals and providing 15 assists; in the most recent season he added seven goals and nine assists in 33 games. Sport director Rachid Azzouzi praised his “tempo, creativity and goal‑threat” and said the player fits Aachen’s offensive profile. Head coach Mersad Selimbegovic described him as a “flexible offensive player with strong one‑on‑one ability and intensity.” The loan was announced five days before Aachen’s opening 3. Liga fixture against SC Verl, and the club expects Ermolaev to be available for selection immediately.
