ALEMS announces weekly agenda and reviews public utility bill

The Legislative Assembly of Mato Grosso do Sul (ALEMS) has released its schedule for the third week of August. The agenda includes a lecture on disinformation hosted by the Senador Ramez Tebet Legislative School, plenary sessions, and an ordinary meeting of the Constitution, Justice, and Drafting Commission (CCJR). Additionally, a solemn session will be held to commemorate the State Day of Higher Education in Mato Grosso do Sul, and a heteroidentification stage for the second ALEMS public contest is scheduled for August 23.

Separately, a bill has been introduced in ALEMS to declare the Association of Brigadistas of Fátima do Sul (ABRIFS) a state public utility entity. Founded in May 2024, the association focuses on volunteer firefighting, emergency response, and environmental protection. The proposal is currently undergoing analysis by state deputies and must pass through the CCJR before proceeding to a final vote.
