Alentejo 2030 allocates over 1 million euros for hospital equipment

The Alentejo 2030 Regional Program has allocated over one million euros to support the acquisition and installation of hospital equipment for the Hospital Central do Alentejo in Évora. The funding, totaling 1,096,424 euros, is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) with a maximum financing rate of 85%.

The investment aims to modernize the regional hospital network by improving diagnostic and treatment capabilities through advanced technology. This initiative is designed to address challenges such as an aging population and increasing healthcare demands. The beneficiary, the Unidade Local de Saúde do Alentejo Central, is responsible for the equipment operations. Applications for this support remain open until December 30, 2026.
