Alentejo clubs remain undefeated in Campeonato de Portugal opener

The inaugural round of the Campeonato de Portugal has concluded, with clubs from the Alentejo region remaining undefeated. In Series 3, O Elvas CAD SAD secured a draw against CD Fátima at Campo Patalino, following a goal by Carlos Almeida and an equalizer by Rodrigo Conceição.

In Series 4, Alentejo clubs achieved a positive result with two victories and two draws. Notably, FC Serpa defeated Vitória de Setúbal FC with a 4-2 scoreline. Other participating regional clubs include Juventude de Évora, GD Portel, and FC Serpa.

The new season also highlights the ambitions of teams like FC Oliveira do Hospital and AD Nogueirense. FC Oliveira do Hospital aims for promotion to Liga 3 under Nuno Pedro, while AD Nogueirense returns to national competition with a focus on maintaining its position in the league.
