Aleph Racing wins first 44Cup World Championship

Aleph Racing has secured its first 44Cup World Championship title in the RC44 one-design class. After 15 years of competing in the series, the team clinched the victory following a closely contested regatta organized by the Royal Yacht Squadron.

Heading into the final day with a slim one-point lead over Team Aqua, Aleph Racing maintained their advantage through strategic maneuvering. In the first race, they overtook Team Aqua by three seconds. In the second race, they finished fourth, narrowly staying ahead of Team Aqua, who finished fifth. In the decisive final race, Aleph Racing positioned themselves to leeward of Team Aqua to secure the win, finishing the championship with 35 points to Team Aqua’s 39.

Pietro Loro Piana, who helmed the boat this season, and tactician Michele Ivaldi credited the team's performance and strong starts for the win. Other notable competitors included GeMera Racing, which finished third, and Team Nika, which took fourth.
