Alessandra Amoroso headlines Notte della Taranta in Melpignano

Singer Alessandra Amoroso headlined the 29th edition of the Notte della Taranta festival in Melpignano, Italy. The event, which drew approximately 150,000 attendees, focused on the theme of the Mediterranean as a space for cultural connection and peace rather than conflict.

Amoroso, a native of Puglia, performed in a white ensemble designed by Marina Eerrie that paid homage to traditional Salento attire worn by women in the 1950s and 1960s. The festival featured various artists, including Ermal Meta as the conductor, Gisela João, Levante, and Sayf. The production was broadcast via Rai 3 and RaiPlay, featuring hosts Ema Stokholma and Aurora Leone.
